Volodymyr Yaremko has more than 12 years of experience gained in Ukraine, including most recently at Sayenko Kharenko in Kyiv. After the war he joined Construction & Engineering and International Arbitration groups at Mayer Brown in London, where he is currently based. He focuses on providing legal advice to international companies in their activities in the Central-Eastern European market, as well as is assisting local businesses when expending globally.
Volodymyr’s key areas of expertise are international arbitration and infrastructure construction projects.
His experience includes representing the State of Ukraine in three international investment arbitration disputes with total value of USD 7 billion. Prior to the war, Volodymyr has been involved in the first sea-port concession projects in Kherson and Mykolaiv in Ukraine, as we as advised leading US contractor in targeting USD multibillion infrastructure project in Ukraine.
He is a Co-Chair of the infrastructure committee of the American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine, as well as the only Ukrainian who is certified by the FIDIC as Adjudicator and being included into the FIDIC Presidents List.
