Monika Hartung is an attorney-at-law and partner and co-heads the Dispute Resolution & Arbitration Practice. She is also responsible for the Insurance Practice.

She has great experience representing clients in commercial disputes before the state courts as well as Polish and foreign arbitration courts. She handles cases involving civil law, bills of exchange, arrangements and bankruptcy.

Monika Hartung is a graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Warsaw. She also studied law at Saarland University in Germany and completed postgraduate studies in European law at Stefan Cardinal Wyszyński University in Warsaw and Postgraduate Competition Law Course at PAN (Polish Academy of Sciences).

She worked at the Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations in the Instruments and Customs Policy Department (1992–1993) and held an internship at the Ombudsman’s Office (1989–1991).

She is the author of numerous publications on arbitration and litigation.

She is a member of the Warsaw Bar Association of Attorneys-at-Law,a the Polish Arbitration Association, and ArbitralWomen.
