Prof. Marcin Aslanowicz is the president of the Lewiatan Arbitration Court (since March 2020) and partner in SSW Pragmatic Solutions Law Firm.

He has served as an arbitrator (including presiding arbitrator and sole arbitrator) in more than 30 arbitration proceedings (ad hoc and before permanent arbitration courts, including the Court of Arbitration at the National Chamber of Commerce, the Court of Arbitration at the Polish Bank Association and the Lewiatan Arbitration Court). He has also represented investors in several investment arbitration proceedings based on bilateral investment treaties between Poland and the US, Singapore and Australia, among others, as well as a number of intra-EU BITs.

Marcin Aslanowicz has also represented clients in numerous arbitration proceedings before various Polish permanent arbitration courts and in ad hoc arbitration proceedings, as well as before foreign arbitration courts (SCC, LCIA, FOSFA, VIAC, ICC). He regularly represents clients in various disputes (mainly contractual, construction and post-M&A) before Polish state courts, including the Supreme Court.
