Professor Maciej Zachariasiewicz, LLM is a professor at Koźmiński University Law School in Warsaw and an of counsel at Popiołek, Adwokaci i Doradcy law firm in Katowice. He frequently acts as an arbitrator in proceedings before the Arbitration Court of the Polish Chamber of Commerce, the Lewiatan Arbitration Court in Warsaw, and in various ad hoc arbitrations.

Professor Zachariasiewicz is an author of number of publications in both Polish and English. His research interests focus on the fields of private law, particularly with cross-border elements, as well as on international litigation and arbitration.

Maciej’s legal practice focuses on arbitration, contract and commercial law. He also advised parties in a number of different cases involving issues of European Union law. Between 2013-2017 he was a member of the Arbitration Committee of the Lewiatan Court of Arbitration in Warsaw.
