Justyna Szpara, advocate, partner at Łaszczuk & Partners. Justyna Szpara is the head of firm’s Dispute Resolution Practice Group. She is the Vice-President of the Polish National Committee of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC Poland) and the Chairperson of its Arbitration Commission. She is also a member of the ICC Commission on Arbitration and ADR. As part of her engagement with ICC, Justyna Szpara takes part in the ICC Working Group on Circular Economy and the ICC Working Group on Plastic Pollution. As an active arbitrator, she is the Fellow at the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, as well as listed arbitrators in number of domestic and international institutions, such as Arbitration Court at the Polish Chamber of Commerce in Warsaw, Lewiatan Arbitration Court, VIAC or Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration (SCIA). She is the author of numerous publications, in particular, in the field of dispute resolution and arbitration, including a co-author of volume 8 of The System of Commercial Law devoted to Commercial Arbitration as well as of the commentary to The Arbitration Rules of the Court of Arbitration at the Polish Chamber of Commerce.
