Jakub Wołkowicz

Jakub Wołkowicz is a local partner in White & Case’s Dispute Resolution and International Arbitration Practice. His practice has a particular focus on disputes relating to major infrastructure projects, including construction, energy and oil and gas, at all stages of a project, including claim management, negotiations as well as court proceedings and arbitration. Among the many matters he has handled are disputes involving wind, biomass and nuclear power plants, as well as various processing plants in Europe and elsewhere. In recent years, Jakub has advised on a number of dispute resolution matters with a total value of several billion dollars.

Jakub is based in White & Case’s Warsaw office. However, he has also gained substantial experience in other jurisdictions through secondments to White & Case’s offices in Paris and Geneva, and regular work with other offices, including in London and the Middle East.

Jakub graduated from the Jagiellonian University law school and holds an LL.M. from Queen Mary University of London. He is a member of the Arbitration Committee at the Lewiatan Court of Arbitration.
