Cezary Wiśniewski

Cezary Wiśniewski is a Polish qualified lawyer, senior partner and head of Dispute Resolution practice at Linklaters’ Warsaw office. He has more than 30 years’ experience representing clients in large-scale litigation and arbitration proceedings. He has been involved in some of the most complex domestic and international arbitration cases, particularly those involving bilateral investment treaty disputes.

Cezary also acts as an arbitrator and is frequently appointed under various rules and ad-hoc arbitration cases, including ICC, UNCITRAL, SCC and VIAC proceedings. Over the last years, he has been involved in several international arbitrations, serving both as chairman and a nominated panel member.

Cezary is the President of the Polish National Committee of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC). He frequently appears as a panelist and lecturer at various international arbitration-related seminars and conferences and has authored numerous publications on commercial and arbitration law.
